Although coaching can also help you achieve more positive mental health and wellbeing, it is different to, & not a substitute for therapy. Coaching is more forward-facing & about coming up with a plan of action to help you move forward.
When it comes to making big decisions in life or at work, or during a period of transition, people can experience a lot of well-meaning & unsolicited advice from friends and family, which doesn’t necessarily help them to move forward in the best way for them.
Coaching is different & will feel much more empowering. It assumes that you have agency to find the solutions to your questions or challenges & choose the path that is right for you, if you are given the right thinking conditions; you know your life and situation better than anyone else.
